Safe Routes to School joins forces with the School PTA to offer families an opportunity to show their appreciation to the Takoma Park Crossing Guards. Students bear simple gifts such as flowers, candy and cards that express their gratitude for another year of excellent service. Each spring we will once again make it official on a special day devoted to saying thank you. Look for information about the 3rd Annual Crossing Guard Appreciation Day in your child's backpack.
