Takoma Park Police Department Weekly Crime Report: 11/8/13 - 11/14/13

Arrests:

7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Wednesday, November 13th at 2:31 p.m., a male 23, was arrested for having an open possession of marijuana warrant.

Intersection of Carroll Ave., and Philadelphia Ave., on November 10th at 11:15 a.m., a male 53, was arrested for having an open theft warrant.

Ward 1:

Robbery

6900 blk. of Laurel Ave., on Friday, November 1st at 4:41 a.m., officers responded to a robbery that just occurred. Two unknown male suspects approached a male victim as he was walking. The suspects demanded the victim’s property in a threatening manner and the victim complied. The suspects then fled toward Washington DC. The victim was not harmed.

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Saturday, October 26th at 2:42 p.m., a male 53, was arrested for possession of marijuana and providing false information.

6700 blk. of Eastern Ave., on Saturday, October 26th at 11:45 p.m., a male 25, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Tuesday, October 22nd at 12:13 p.m., a male 25, was arrested for having an open theft and forgery warrant.

7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Monday, October 21st at 4:43 a.m., a male 34, was arrested for having an open failure to pay child support warrant.

7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Wednesday, October 16th at 9:27 p.m., a male 56, was arrested for having an open failure to appear warrant.

7411 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Sunday, October 13th at 2:44 p.m., two females both 23, were arrested for disorderly conduct, trespassing, and assault on a police officer.
