Theft from Autos - Community Advisory

On December 16, 2013, at approximately 7:00 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 400 block of Circle Avenue for a report of a theft from autos. Sometime between December 15 at 6:30 pm and December 16 at 8:00 am, unknown suspect(s) entered two of the victim's unlocked vehicles and stole property.

Gas Station Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On December 16, 2013, at approximately 5:40 pm, Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station). While the victim was pumping gas she heard her front passenger door close. She observed a black vehicle with tinted windows driving away. Her property was stolen from her vehicle.

Destruction of Property - Community Advisory

On December 15, 2013, at approximately 1:00 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6500 block of Westmoreland Avenue for a report of destruction of property. Sometime between December 14 at 3:00 pm and December 15 at 1:00 am, unknown suspect(s) broke a stained glass window on the front of the victim's residence.

Commercial Armed Robbery - Community Advisory

On December 14, 2013, at approximately 7:45 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1000 block of University Blvd. (Tax Max) for a commercial armed robbery. A suspect enter the business and pretended to be a customer and inquired about sending money. He left the establishment and shortly after returned asking for change in exchange for a large bill. The suspect left the establishment again and return again shortly after with a second suspect. They displayed black pistols and demanded money.

Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On December 14, 2013, at approximately 2:08 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7600 block of Fenton Street (Montgomery College) for a report of a theft from auto. Sometime between 11:45 am and 2:00 pm,, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicle by smashing out the passenger side window and stole property.

Theft - Community Advisory

On December 13, 2013, Takoma Park Police responded to the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue for a report of a theft that occurred. The victim's property was stolen from the front yard by unknown suspect(s) sometime between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On December 13, 2013, at approximately 1:00 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7100 block of Sycamore Avenue for a report of a theft from auto. Sometime between December 12 at 7:30 pm and December 13 at 1:00 pm, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's believed to be unlocked vehicle and stole property.

Gas Station Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On December 13, 2013, at approximately 9:39 am, Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred earlier in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station). While pumping gasoline, surveillance showed two black male suspects, between the ages of 25-30, pull into the Sunoco gas station at the north entrance and pull up next to the victim's vehicle. One of the suspects opened the rear passenger side door of his vehicle, leaned over and opened the passenger front side door of the victim's vehicle and stole property.

Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On December 13, 2013, at approximately 8:29 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1300 block of Elson Place for a report of a theft from auto. Sometime between December 12 at 11:00 pm and December 13 at 7:59 am, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicle by breaking the left rear door window and stole property.

Our Crossing Guards’ primary responsibility is to facilitate the safe crossing of students to and from school each day in all weather conditions. These crossing guards are trained and certified in traffic and pedestrian safety. Each one wears a highly visible bright yellow reflective safety vest.
