The City of Takoma Park is requesting separate proposals for the preparation of and audit of its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. Proposals are due February 21, 2012.
The Public Works department is currently requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to establish a contract with the City of Takoma Park for stormwater system cleaning and video inspection.
Information on the City's FY 2012 Small Community Grant Program is now available online. Projects must be completed by June 30, 2012. The application deadline is February 8, 2012.
Sidewalk and Streetscape Construction Contract

The invitation to bid for the Three Year Indefinite Quantities Sidewalk and Streetscape Construction Contract is now available!
Starting January 1, 2012, all retail establishments in Montgomery County that sell goods and provide their customers a carryout bag (either paper or plastic) are required to charge 5 cents per bag. Montgomery County has more details available on their website. Link below.
The City of Takoma Park is currently in the process of building a new website. Washington Gas Service Line Replacement Project Web Page For Project Tracking

The City has set up a page on the City's website for the upcoming Washington Gas service line replacement project in Old Takoma. The page can be accessed at www.takomaparkmd.gov/washingtongas. The page will post updates as they become available. Currently the page has a copy of the informational letter provided by Washington Gas, the City permit copy, the list of affected addresses and contact information. A schedule for the project has not yet been established. There is also the option for users to request notice via email or text whenever the page is updated.
