City Manager's Update - January 3, 2006

City Manager Matthews noted that there were still a significant number of outstanding Proposed Change Orders (PCOs) submitted by James F. Knott Construction Company. She informed the City Council that a meeting would be held on January 4, 2006 to discuss the outstanding PCOs.

The City Manager advised the City Council that James F. Knott Construction Company was continuing its work related to items noted during the interior punch list inspection. At this time, the contractor was focusing on the second and third floors of the Community Center. Once the items on these floors had been addressed, James F. Knott Construction Company would address items on the first floor (i.e., the Public Safety Level). Upon notification by the contractor that the punch list items had been resolved, the project architect would conduct a re-inspection of the building.

City Manager Matthews informed the City Council that Phase Two (sometimes referred to as the Community Plaza Level) was progressing well. TRG Construction was on schedule.
