A. No automobile, motorcycle or other vehicle shall move upon any street
at a greater rate of speed than 25 miles per hour, except on those streets for
which a higher rate of speed has been prescribed by competent
authority.
B. School Speed Zones.
1. The following areas are designated
as school zones:

3. It is unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle within a
school zone in excess of 15 miles per hour during school hours, which shall
include that time when children are going to and from school.
C. A violation
of this section is a Class D offense. (Prior code § 13-28)
