PROPOSED
REPEAL AND RE-ENACTMENT AND REVISION OF
THE TAKOMA PARK CITY CHARTER
The City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 22, 2001, beginning at
7:30 p.m. (or as soon as thereafter as the matters may be heard) to receive citizens' comments on
the proposed amendments to the Takoma Park Charter. The proposed amendments are the result
of a complete review of the City Charter as part of the City's ongoing re-codification project.
The proposal is to repeal the current Charter and re-enact a revised Charter with the proposed
amendments.
