Q. How do I get a copy of a tape of a Council meeting or other program from Takoma Park City TV ?
A. Tapes are available of those programs produced by Takoma Park City TV. Please fill out the dub request form to get a copy of a show. You can mail the completed form to City TV or bring it to our office located at 7500 Maple Avenue in Takoma Park, Maryland. Fees start at $15.00 per tape, plus $3.00 per tape for shipping (or they can be picked up at the Municipal Building). NEW! Some programs are available in DVD format (not Council meetings); please contact us for further information. See below for how to contact us. Tapes of Council meetings are also available at the Takoma Park Maryland Library to all registered patrons. Tapes will be available at the Library by Noon of the day following the meeting. Q. I have been having a problem with my cable television service. How do I register a complaint?
A. As administrator of the Cable Television Franchises for Montgomery County and the Participating Municipalities (including Takoma Park), you can file a formal complaint with the Montgomery County Cable Office by calling 240.777.3662 for any problems with any of the cable television service providers. The City of Takoma Park also takes complaints, and requests that you please send us copies of any correspondence so that we can track complaints. |

Q. I live in the "Annexed Area" of Takoma Park, what cable services are available to me?
A. Residents in this neighborhood only (former Prince George's County area annexed to the City in 1996) have the choice to subscribe to the Comcast/Prince George's (Formerly Jones Cable system) or the Comcast/ Montgomery system. Starpower also operates in this area. Please note that Takoma Park City TV is not provided on the Comcast/Prince Georges system at this time, but is on the Comcast/Montgomery and RCN/Starpower systems on channel 13. |
