The Takoma Park Police Department, in partnership with the Recreation Department, will host four sessions of a Junior Police Academy, 1-day summer camp. Don’t delay in signing up! The class is free and there are only 10 slots available for each session, which means that they will fill up very quickly!
Join us and be part of a fun-filled, action packed day of Junior Police Academy. Campers will be introduced to law enforcement, patrol procedures, criminal investigations, meet the canine officer and learn tips on how to prevent crime and bullying. Lunch will be provided and a certificate of completion will be distributed at the end of the day. All participants must wear sneakers and dress appropriately. Only 10 campers will be allowed for each session. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
Registration for children (age 6-12) begins Monday, June 10, 2013. Please register your child(ren) for only one session.
