Kick off the beginning of your summer weekends with a hot new concert series on Friday nights at Takoma Junction starting May 16! Sponsored by the City of Takoma Park and the Takoma Park-Silver Spring Co-op, there will be free live music from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the parking lot next to the Co-op. Takoma Park will host an Electronic Equipment Recycling Event on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM behind the Library at Maple and Philadelphia Avenue’s. For questions or additional information call the Public Works Department (301) 891-7633.
